Rocky Point Prawn FarmThe prawn farm was established in 1984, 50 kilometres south of Brisbane, and opened a new hatchery in late 2001 to meet their ongoing requirements and also to meet the requirements of other Australian prawn farms.
The high quality, disease free larvae produced at Rocky Point is anticipated to be in excess of 100 million larvae annually. Rocky Point Prawn Farm is a family-run business with a well-established kuruma and black tiger farm developed under the guidance of the Zipf family with their commitment to purity and sustainability and the natural habitat and environment in which the prawns are produced. |
